grew up attending The Atlanta International School in Atlanta, GA, USA. During his time at AIS he took German and English classes side by side, studying both modern and classic literature in each language. After high school, he attended GeorgiaInstitute of Technology, where he studied mechanical engineering whilealso participating in the international plan. This program brought him to the Technical University of Munich for a study abroad during the summer of 2013.
